Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf has directed Secretary Establishment Taimur Azmat Usman to implement the recent judgement of the Supreme Court authored by Justice Jawad S Khawaja regarding posting of civil servants as Officers on Special Duty (OSD) and their appointments, removals and promotions, in letter and spirit and submit a comprehensive compliance report within 15 days.

These directions were given by the PM after a comprehensive presentation made by Secretary Establishment on the recent judgement made by the honourable Supreme Court at the Prime Minister's House on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the PM ordered that Maryam Khan be posted as ADC (G) immediately. He also directed an inquiry into the premature transfer of Rabia Aurangzeb. The PM said the government was committed to ensure security and tenure of postings of government servants, so that they could work without fear or favour.-PR
